Vukadin families are often Croats and they are mostly from western Bosnia , less frequently Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Western Bosnia (Livno area) and in Western Bosnia (Tomislavgrad area). In Srđevići in East Herzegovina every seventh inhabitant had the family name Vukadin.
Prevalence
About 830 people with faimily name Vukadin live in Croatia today, in 330 households. There were 290 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number tripled. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 42 cities and 63 other places, mostly in Zagreb (205), Djakovo (65), Split (55), Piskorevci (45), and in Vrbnik in Knin area (40).
Outside Croatia
Family name Vukadin is present in 16 countries on four continents. The family name "Vukadin " is used by some 60 people in the United States , small number in Canada , and small number in Switzerland.
