Vrbnik is located in the municipality Biskupija, in Šibenik-Knin County at an elevation of 337 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 19.24 km² (7.43 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 447 inhabitants. It is largely populated by Serbs (87%), but also Croats (12%). Nearby places: Potkonje, Ljubač, Knin, Biskupija, Kovačić, Ramljane, Kninsko Polje, Orlić, Žagrović and Matase.
