Seršić families are Croats and they are mostly from the Island of Krk. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Rijeka and on the Island of Krk. In places Batomalj and Draga Bašćanska on the Island of Krk every sixth inhabitant had the family name Seršić.
Prevalence
About 180 people with faimily name Seršić live in Croatia today, in 90 households. There were 240 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are located in 8 Croatian counties, in 13 cities and 12 other places, mostly in Rijeka (65), and in Baska (25), Draga Bascanska (25), Batomalj (15) and Jurandvor (15) on the Island of Krk.
