Batomalj is located in the municipality Baška, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County at an elevation of 2 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 28.04 km² (10.83 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 129 inhabitants. It is predominantly populated by Croats (96%), but also Macedonians (2%). Nearby places: Jurandvor, Baška, Draga Bašćanska, Stara Baška, Punat, Vrbnik, Kornić, Muraj, Krk and Kampelje.
