Muraj is located in the City of Krk, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County at an elevation of 20 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 92.00 km² (35.52 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 45 inhabitants. It is largely populated by Croats (77%), but also Serbs (10%) and Bosniaks (8%).
