In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Rijeka and in Rijeka area. In Lubarska in Rijeka area every tenth inhabitant had the family name Semion.
Prevalence
About 20 people with faimily name Semion live in Croatia today, in 8 households. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are only located in in one Croatian city and 8 other places, mostly in Zastenice (10), Cernik (<5), Cavle (<5) and Jelenje (<5) in Rijeka area, and in Kostrena in Bakr area (<5).
