Pedić families are almost entirely Croats and they are mostly from Novigrada , rarely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Novigrad and Zadar.
Prevalence
About 430 people with faimily name Pedić live in Croatia today, in 160 households. There were 170 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number more than doubled. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 10 cities and 22 other places, mostly in Pridraga in Novigrad Area in Dalmatia (190), Zadar (135), Rijeka (30), Vinkovci (20), and in Jaksic in Pozega area (15).
