Novigrad

Novigrad is the seat of the municipality (the same name) in Zadar County, at an elevation of 20 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 9.67 km² (3.73 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 522 inhabitants. It is predominantly populated by Croats (93%), but also Italians (6%). Nearby places: Paljuv, Pridraga, Podgradina, Jasenice, Posedarje, Donji Kašić, Smilčić, Islam Grčki, Gornje Biljane and Gornji Karin.
