Prevalence
About 10 people with faimily name Pavelik live in Croatia today, in 6 households. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in threee Croatian counties, two cities and four other places, mostly in Podgorac in Nasice area (<10), Nasice (<5), Martin (<5), Zagreb (<5), and in Novi Bezdan in Beli Manastir area (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over eighty times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
