Family name Madjar (including: Madyar , Madiar ) is present in 40 countries worldwide. The family name "Madjar " is used by some 200 people in Moldova , about 100 in the United States , and some 100 people in Israel.
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1930 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
