In Croatia, Keco families are predominantly Croats (from Kutina ), rarely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Garesnica and Bjelovar. In Dišnik in Garesnica every fourtieth inhabitant had the family name Keco.
