Jandrić families are usually Croats and they are mostly from Otocac area , rarely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Middle Bosnia (Travnik area). In places Jagodići and Grahovčići in Middle Bosnia every tenth inhabitant had the family name Jandrić.
Prevalence
About 590 people with faimily name Jandrić live in Croatia today, in 270 households. There were 600 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in almost all Croatian counties, in 39 cities and 76 other places, mostly in Zagreb (165), Korenica in Otocac area (25), Knin (20), Bjelovar (20), and in Petrinja (20).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over twenty times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
