Korenica, Plitvicka Jezera

Korenica is the seat of the municipality Plitvička Jezera in Lika-Senj County, at an elevation of 658 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 1.89 km² (0.73 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 1.754 inhabitants. It is mostly populated by Croats (73%), but also Serbs (26%). Nearby places: Kalebovac, Kompolje Koreničko, Vranovača, Gradina Korenička, Oravac, Jasikovac, Šeganovac, Vrpile, Mihaljevac and Vrelo Koreničko.
