Žutić families are often Croats and they are mostly from Glina area , less frequently Serbs and Bosniaks. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Glina area and in Rama, Bosnia (Prozor area).
Prevalence
About 280 people with faimily name Žutić live in Croatia today, in 130 households. There were 310 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 10 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 23 cities and 35 other places, mostly in Zagreb (75), Gredjani in Glina area (15), Jaksic in Pozega area (10), Rijeka (<10), and in Slavonski Brod (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1917 in source List of Dignitaries, Officials and Public Servants of the Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia.
