Surname Škrabonja in modern Croatia

In Croatia, Škrabonja families are Croats (from the Island of Krk ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Rijeka and on the Island of Krk. In Tribulje on the Island of Krk every tenth inhabitant had the family name Škrabonja.

Prevalence

They are located in only five naselja i to in Tribulje (<10), Gabonjin (<10), Cizici (<5) and Krk (<5) on the Island of Krk, and in Rijeka (<5).
