In Croatia, Đulić families are predominantly Croats (from Zapresic area ), rarely Bosniaks (from Cazins Region (Bosnia) ), and barely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Bosanian Posavina (Modrica area). In Đulići in Bosnian Krajina every ninth inhabitant had the family name Đulić.
Prevalence
About 50 people with faimily name Đulić live in Croatia today, in 20 households. There were 30 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 50 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 11 cities and 15 other places, mostly in Zagreb (<10), Bibinje in Zadar area (<10), Zapresic (<10), Slavonski Brod (<5), and in Sibenik (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1906 in source Yearbook and Directory of Literary Society of St. Jerome 1906.
