Đonlić families are predominantly Croats and they are mostly from Sinj area , less frequently Bosniaks from bosanske Posavine. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Sinj area and in Sinj. In Voštane in Sinj area every fourth inhabitant had the family name Đonlić.
Prevalence
About 250 people with faimily name Đonlić live in Croatia today, in 90 households. There were 110 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number more than doubled. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 14 cities and 18 other places, mostly in Split (55), Vostane in Sinj area (25), Zagreb (25), Stobrec (25), and in Trilj in Sinj area (20).
