Đermanović families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Beli Manastir area , often Croats from Bosnian Posavina. According to some sources they originate from Greece. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Hrvatska Kostajnica area. In Gornji Javoranj in Hrvatska Kostajnica area every fifth inhabitant had the family name Đermanović.

They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 15 cities and 31 other places, mostly in Zagreb (25), Jagodnjak in Beli Manastir area (15), Rajevo Selo in Zupanja area (10), Vukovar (10), and in Daruvar (10).
