Čučković families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Glina , whereas often Croats (from Sisak ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Glina and Zagreb. In places Balinac and Mali Obljaj in Glina every fourth inhabitant had the family name Čučković.
Prevalence
About 300 people with faimily name Čučković live in Croatia today, in 150 households. There were 560 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 23 cities and 30 other places, mostly in Zagreb (85), Petrinja (25), Balinac (20), Sisak (15), and in Jagodnjak in Beli Manastir area (15).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over thirty times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
