In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Karlovac and Vrbovsko. In Severin na Kupi in Vrbovsko every seventh inhabitant had the family name Časni.

About 50 people with faimily name Časni live in Croatia today, in 17 households. There were 50 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in 6 Croatian counties, in 8 cities and threee other places, mostly in Severin na Kupi (15), Zagreb (10), Zadobarje (<10), Gornje Stative (<10), and in Karlovac (<10).
