In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Podrinje, Bosnia (Rudo area) and in Ludbreg. In Gaočići in Podrinje (Bosnia) nearly every inhabitant had the family name Zuko.

About 10 people with faimily name Zuko live in Croatia today, in 7 households. There were 0 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are only located in two Croatian cities and four other places, mostly in Sveti Djurdj in Ludbreg area (<10), Sisak (<5), Hrzenica in Ludbreg area (<5), Zagreb (<5), and in Orolik in Vinkovci area (<5).
