Zolić families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Ivanic-Grad area , often Bosniaks (from Cazinska Krajina Region, Bosnia). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Cazins Region, Bosnia (Bihac area) and in Ivanic-Grad area. In Velika Gata in Cazins Region (Bosnia) every fourth inhabitant had the family name Zolić.
Prevalence
About 70 people with faimily name Zolić live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 80 percent. They are located in 7 Croatian counties, in 11 cities and 6 other places, mostly in Zagreb (15), Kriz in Ivanic-Grad area (10), Rijeka (<10), Mala Hrastilnica in Ivanic-Grad area (<10), and in Umag (<5).
