In Croatia, Zicovich families are Croats by relative majority (from Porec area ), equally Italians (also from Porec area ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Porec area. In Žikovići in Porec area every seventh inhabitant had the family name Zicovich.

Prevalence

Only a few people with faimily name Zicovich live in Croatia today, in three households only. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased significantly.
They are located in threee Croatian counties, in one city and two other places, mostly in Rijeka (<5), Vojnic in Duga Resa area (<5), and in Visnjan in Porec area (<5).
