Vujasin families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Biograd na Moru area , often Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Bosanian Posavina (Bosanski Novi area) and in Zadar. In Kršlje in Bosanian Posavina every eighth inhabitant had the family name Vujasin.

About 180 people with faimily name Vujasin live in Croatia today, in 90 households. There were 130 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 40 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 20 cities and 26 other places, mostly in Pakostane in Biograd na moru area (50), Zagreb (20), Ogulin (<10), Osijek (<10), and in Zadar (<10).
