Vrbetić families are Croats and they are mostly from Ozalj. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Karlovac and Zagreb. In Grandić Breg in Ozalj every third inhabitant had the family name Vrbetić.
Prevalence
About 150 people with faimily name Vrbetić live in Croatia today, in 60 households. There were 130 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 10 percent. They are located in 7 Croatian counties, in 9 cities and 14 other places, mostly in Karlovac (40), Zagreb (25), Duga Resa (15), Mali Erjavec (10), and in Skaljevica (10).
