Surname Vrabel in modern Croatia

In Croatia, Vrabel families are almost entirely Croats (from Djakovo area ), very rarely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Koprivnica area and in Djakovo. In Hrnjevac in Orahovica area every fiftieth inhabitant had the family name Vrabel.
