Surname Vitman in modern Croatia

In Croatia, Vitman families are almost entirely Croats (from Orahovica area ), very rarely Hungarians (from Djakovo ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Djakovo and Nasice. In Duga Međa in Orahovica area every twentieth inhabitant had the family name Vitman.
