In Croatia, Vince families are predominantly Croats (from Belisce area ), very rarely Hungarians (from Backa, Vojvodina ), and . In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and Nasice. In Ribnjak in Nasice every sixth inhabitant had the family name Vince.
Prevalence
About 60 people with faimily name Vince live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 80 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are located in 8 Croatian counties, in 10 cities and 8 other places, mostly in Zagreb (25), Krizevci (<10), Osijek (<10), Sesvete (<5), and in Djakovo (<5).
