In Croatia, Vilim families are Czechs by relative majority (from Pakrac ), rarely Croats (from Lipik ), and . In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Pakrac and in Herzegovina (Grude area). In Batinjani in Pakrac every seventieth inhabitant had the family name Vilim.
Prevalence
Only a few people with faimily name Vilim live in Croatia today, in two households only. There were 30 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased significantly. They are located in only threee Croatian places: in Filipovac (<5), Batinjani (<5), and in Josipovac (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1927 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
