Vardić families are Croats and they are mostly from Sinj area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Banja Luka Region, Bosnia (Banja Luka area) and in Sinj.
Prevalence
About 180 people with faimily name Vardić live in Croatia today, in 70 households. There were 80 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number doubled. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 18 cities and 26 other places, mostly in Split (30), Selci Djakovacki (25), Satric in Sinj area (20), Zagreb (15), and in Sinj (15).
