About 70 people with faimily name Vardijan live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 100 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are located in 6 Croatian counties, in 7 cities and 12 other places, mostly in Zagreb (15), Svedruza in Krapina area (15), Pravutina in Ozalj area (15), Rijeka (<10), and in Ilovac (<10).
