Uljanić families are Croats and they are mostly from Buzet area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Buzet area and in Pula. In places Dolenja Vas and Semić in Buzet area every fifth inhabitant had the family name Uljanić.
Prevalence
About 110 people with faimily name Uljanić live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 120 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 0 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties, in 12 cities and 16 other places, mostly in Rovinj (15), Rijeka (10), Borut in Pazin area (10), Pula (10), and in Opatija (<10).
