In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Bosanian Posavina (Bosanski Samac area) and in Bosanian Posavina (Modrica area). In places Grebnice and Bosanski Šamac in Bosanian Posavina every fiftieth inhabitant had the family name Tuzlak.
Prevalence
About 140 people with faimily name Tuzlak live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 15 cities and 14 other places, mostly in Zupanja (15), Osijek (15), Zagreb (15), Tenja (10), and in Slatina (10).

Family name Tuzlak is present in 9 countries on four continents. The family name "Tuzlak " is used by some 200 people in Turkey , small number in Canada , and small number of people in the United States.
