Tutić families are Croats and they are mostly from Cazinska Krajina Region (Bosnia). According to some sources they are from Banja Luka (Bosnia). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Banja Luka Region, Bosnia (Banja Luka area) and in Cazins Region, Bosnia (Sanski Most area). In Šimići in Banja Luka Region (Bosnia) every eighth inhabitant had the family name Tutić.

About 990 people with faimily name Tutić live in Croatia today, in 370 households. There were 110 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied.
They are located in almost all Croatian counties, in 52 cities and 111 other places, mostly in Zagreb (90), Novska (50), Kriz in Ivanic-Grad area (45), Pakrac (40), and in Lipik (35).
