In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Bosnian Krajina (Bosanska Dubica area). In Donja Gradina in Bosnian Krajina every second inhabitant had the family name Toroman.
Prevalence
About 30 people with faimily name Toroman live in Croatia today, in 12 households. There were 0 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located and two other Croatian places, mostly in Zagreb (15), Kostrena Sveta Lucija in Bakr area (<10), Karlovac (<5), Varazdin (<5), and in Bestrma in Hrvatska Kostajnica area (<5).

Family name Toroman is present in 15 countries on four continents. "Thoroman " is used by some 100 people in the United States.
