Tepšić families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Glina area , whereas often Croats (Dubrovnik). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Hrvatska Kostajnica area and in Glina area. In places Gornja Stupnica and Donja Stupnica in Hrvatska Kostajnica area every third inhabitant had the family name Tepšić.
