In Croatia, Sule families are Croats (from the Island of Solta ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Split and on the Island of Solta.
Prevalence
About 50 people with faimily name Sule live in Croatia today, in 20 households. There were 60 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 10 percent. They are located in two Croatian counties, four cities and four other places, mostly in Grohote on the Island of Solta (20), Split (10), Hvar on the Island of Hvar (<10), Zagreb (<5), and in Podstrana in Solin area (<5).
