Suhina families are Croats and they are mostly from Zapresic area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Zapresic area.
Prevalence
About 110 people with faimily name Suhina live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 140 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties and 10 other places, mostly in Jakovlje in Zapresic area (45), Zagreb (40), Grabovac in Beli Manastir area (20), Kriz in Ivanic-Grad area (<10), and in Slani Potok in Donja Stubica area (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1942 in source Phone Directory of the Independent State of Croatia 1942.
