About 20 people with faimily name Stemberga live in Croatia today, in 17 households. There were 150 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased significantly. They are located in only five naselja i to in Labin (15), Vinez (<10), Rijeka (<5), Sumber in Labin area (<5), and in Pula (<5).
Outside Croatia
At least two families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to Canada (1) and the United States (1). Family name Stemberga is present in 6 countries on three continents. The family name "Stemberga " is used by some 50 people in the United States , about 50 in Chile , and small number of people in Canada.
