Simeunović families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Pozega area , whereas often Croats. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Vukovar and in Tuzla Region, Bosnia (Tuzla area). In Crljenci in Pozega area every second inhabitant had the family name Simeunović.

They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 20 cities and 18 other places, mostly in Zagreb (20), Vukovar (15), Pozega (10), Ostrovo in Vinkovci area (10), and in Rijeka (<10).
