In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Nova Gradiska and in Bosanian Posavina (Bosanska Gradiska area). In Gornji Rakani in Bosanian Posavina every fourth inhabitant had the family name Senić.

About 140 people with faimily name Senić live in Croatia today, in 60 households. There were 120 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 10 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 12 cities and 20 other places, mostly in Zagreb (30), Nova Gradiska (25), Rijeka (10), Pleternica (<10), and in Jagodnjak in Beli Manastir area (<10).
