Sarjanović families are predominantly Croats and they are mostly from the Island of Hvar , less frequently Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born on the Island of Hvar and in Split.
Prevalence
About 80 people with faimily name Sarjanović live in Croatia today, in 40 households. There were 70 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 20 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties, four cities and two other places, mostly in Zagreb (50), Jelsa on the Island of Hvar (30), Split (<10), Velika Gorica (<5), and in Vinkovci (<5).
