About 20 people with faimily name Sandri live in Croatia today, in 9 households. There were 80 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased significantly. They are located and another small Croatian place , mostly in Pula (<10), Varazdin (<5), Zagreb (<5), Liznjan in Pula area (<5), and in Dubrovnik (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1923 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
