Prevalence
About 60 people with faimily name Samarin live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 80 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties and 12 other places, mostly in Jastrebarsko (15), Zagreb (10), Donji Desinec (<10), Hrasca (<10), and in Novaki Petrovinski (<5).
