Rozman families are usually Croats and they are mostly from Nasice area , rarely Slovenes. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Varazdin and Koprivnica. In Vučnik in Vrbovsko every fifth inhabitant had the family name Rozman.
Prevalence
About 120 people with faimily name Rozman live in Croatia today, in 60 households. There were 150 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 14 cities and 18 other places, mostly in Varazdin (15), Koprivnica (15), Zagreb (15), Osijek (<10), and in Kutina (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over twenty times, the first time 1906 in source Yearbook and Directory of Literary Society of St. Jerome 1906.
