In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Zabok area. In Štrucljevo in Zabok area every fourth inhabitant had the family name Roginić.
Prevalence
About 360 people with faimily name Roginić live in Croatia today, in 140 households. There were 370 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 12 cities and 27 other places, mostly in Okuje (70), Strucljevo in Zabok area (70), Zagreb (65), Svaljkovec in Zabok area (25), and in Kuzminec in Krapina area (15).
Outside Croatia
At least four families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to: Germany (1), the United States (1), Australia (1), and to France (1). Family name Roginić is present in three countries on three continents. The family name "Roginic " is used by few people in Australia and few people in the United States.
