In Croatia, Rodi families are generally Croats (from Prelog area ), very rarely Macedonians (from Cakovec ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Prelog area and in Cakovec. In Donji Hrašćan in Prelog area every fourtieth inhabitant had the family name Rodi.
Prevalence
About 20 people with faimily name Rodi live in Croatia today, in 10 households. There were 30 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 40 percent. They are located and four other Croatian places, mostly in Cakovec (<10), Donji Hrascan in Prelog area (<5), Zagreb (<5), Donji Kraljevec in Prelog area (<5), and in Beli Manastir (<5).
