About 40 people with faimily name Ringel live in Croatia today, in 14 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in four Croatian counties, in 7 cities, mostly in Grubisno Polje (15), Jastrebarsko (10), Osijek (<10), Daruvar (<5), and in Belisce (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1927 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
