In Croatia, Rabić families are Croats (from Slatina ), barely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Pozega area and in Pozega. In Novo Zvečevo in Pozega area every ninth inhabitant had the family name Rabić.
Prevalence
About 70 people with faimily name Rabić live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 50 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 50 percent. They are located in 9 Croatian counties, in 6 cities and 8 other places, mostly in Slatina (20), Zagreb (15), Radosavci (10), Pozega (<10), and in Osijek (<5).
