In Croatia, Princ families are generally Croats (from Vrbovec area ), very rarely Slovenes (from Kraljevica ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Rijeka and Zagreb. In Rosopajnik in Duga Resa area every ninth inhabitant had the family name Princ.
